Job Description:
The Coordinator, Health Programs Outreach, is a member of the enrollment team that works across the district of the College and within the surrounding community to support recruiting and admission goals of Pensacola State College. Works as a member of Recruiting to assist with marketing health-related programs to high schools, the community, business, and industry partners, and the military. Key activities include hosting visitors on campus, serving as the advisor for SkillsUSA, serving as the advisor for Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), building and nurturing relationships with prospective students and parents, creating and delivering presentations about the College and programs offered, tracking prospects to meet specific recruitment goals, and counseling prospective students through the admissions process. Reports to the Associate Vice President, Student Affairs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and a valid state driver’s license. Relevant work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the degree requirements. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
SALARY RANGE: $35,000.00 - $42,500.00
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in recruiting or another Student Services area.
